OCTOBER 5, 2021 - GENERAL MEETING @ LUNCHEON

AARTA members met for the 1st Luncheon of the new school year.  64 members attended.  Several newly retired teachers were recognized. Members with October & November birthdays were also recognized and serenaded with the singing of Happy Birthday.  During the buffet lunch, for our enjoyment, Holly(Nickerson) Schmidt sang show tunes from well known musicals.  After lunch and a general business meeting, representatives from TRS and IRTA provided current information about both organizations. The luncheon was concluded with the drawing of raffle tickets for the 50/50 that benefited our scholarship.  Members supported our community program, ASC, by donating school supplies that will given to the food pantries for distribution. Next luncheon - December 7.
